The Dining Room at Ballinkeele House offers guests the opportunity to experience first hand the Country House grandeur of bygone years. Decorated in the period of the house with candle light reflecting off the beautiful chandelier, guests can enjoy their evening meal, whilst getting to know or as has Happened meeting someone after 40 years as they sit around the old family table. We have a small, but reasonably varied wine list from house ranging up to Champagne.
There maybe some guests ,who would wish to dine at a separate table this can be arranged.

Locally produced meat and fish are used, accompanied by fresh fruit and vegetables produced from their own garden whenever possible.
Margaret who is a member of the European Community of cooks tries to promote the use of naturally produced ingredients and strives to satisfy all the senses with her cooking; the taste, the smell and the presentation of each dish, combined with the relaxing surroundings of the magnificent dining room come together to enhance the enjoyment of really good food.
Ballinkeele is pleased to cater for vegetarians but do remember to let us know, before you arrive, so we can cater for your needs.
Ballinkeele is licenced to sell wine and has a good cellar with many fine wines to choose from.
